Checking in your items at
The Curriculum Closet Sale
1. Find parking
When you enter the downtown Lynchburg area, drive down 9th street past Amazement Square, across the cobblestone bridge. To your left will be the Genworth Education Center where the sale will be. Look for the marked drop off parking spots.
2. Bring your items inside
We will have cheerful volunteers to help you bring your items into the building.
3. Move your car to another parking space
Amazement Square does not own any parking. The parking lot closest to the event is a free parking area. If there are no available spaces, you may park in the closest available public parking space. Note: during the week, some lots charge a parking fee.
4. Come inside to check in
Come inside to officially check in. We will verify your address to mail your check to, look over your items, and show you how to sort your items to place them in the correct area. We will have some volunteers available to help, but plan to stay until your items are in the proper places. We want to give buyers the best chance to find your items!
After the sale…
5. Pick up your unsold items
Pickup is Saturday morning at 10 a.m. All items you wish to reclaim must be picked up during this time by you or your representative. You will arrive at the event center and we will give you a report of your unsold items, which you will need to retrieve from their sorted locations on the sales floor. All items remaining after 12 noon will be considered donations and made available for our gleaning (free) hour. There are no exceptions to this policy.
6. Cash your check!
Checks will be in the mail by the end of May with a report showing your total proceeds less your registration fee. Enjoy your earnings!
